Our research into Anne Everard (see previous post dated 16th February 2026) and the two boarding schools which were on Wharf Street in the 19th century led us to know a lot about that street’s houses and their residents. We decided to capitalise on that and present all that knowledge in our Heritage Centre at Bawtry Community Library. There, you’ll see a fantastic 3D model of the street created by Claire Gratsa, and a paper written by Sherelle Hawse, which describes the houses and the families who lived in them.
