We have made a new exhibition in the Heritage Centre at Bawtry Community Library

This one’s about “Bawtry’s Unmissable Landmark” – the Methodist Church. It covers the design and construction of the Church, andincludes contemporary documents and artefacts. The exhibition is backed up by a detailed paper written by our member Mick Maguire, which is available to read in the Heritage Centre, or to read and download on this website.

If you missed our previous exhibition about Anne Everard, Bawtry’s 19th century innovative teacher and her girls’ school on Wharf Street, most of the information which was displayed remains available in the Heritage Centre and on this website.
