Bawtry Heritage Exhibition

BHG is exhibiting at the Doncaster Local History Fair on Saturday 15th November. We’ll be on the Lower Ground Floor, in the Railway Heritage area.

Local History Fair – Saturday 15th November at the Danum Gallery, Library & Museum on Waterdale

The Fair, where entry is free, will be open to the public between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.. Lots of Doncaster district societies & interest groups will be there, exhibiting their interests. Our stall will be located in the Railway Heritage section, on the Lower Ground Floor.

This sketch was made by Alfred Wickham in 1907. He had been married in the church in 1904. It was donated to us via Bawtry Community Library. The original image will be on display in the library Heritage Centre in the next few weeks, after further background research has been completed.
